How to improve access to funding. Selena in Brussels.

Selena Italy, with the participation of Cristina Gorajski, has been part today of the Lunch Debate Women Entrepreneurship and Access to Finance held at the European Parliament – Ministers Room. The event attended by Teresa Jimenez Becerril – spanish member of European Parliament committed to women’s rights and gender equality – has seen the speechs of:

Madonna Jarrett: Director Global Regulatory policy Deloitte, and a member of the Employment, Labor & Social Policy committee at BIAC – the business voice of OECD.

Nicole Primmer: Senior Policy Director at BIAC and oversees digital economy, employment, social and gender policy including G20 related activities. Deloitte and BIAC cooperate on the BIAC Women Entrepreneurship Project.

Anne Ravanona: Founder and CEO of Global InvestHer – a catalyst for getting Women Entrepreneurs funded fa ster and building Gender-Inclusive workplaces. She is an Astia Advisor and Founder of the Women Entrepreneurs Network in Paris.

Orlagh Hunt: Group Human Resources Director at Allied Irish Banks (AIB). AIB supports several initiatives to promote female entrepreneurs and women-led business start-ups.

Michael Meissner: Vice-President Corporate Affairs of Amway, a member company of Seldia – the European Direct Selling Association. Seldia represents over 5.2 million direct sellers in the EU of which 80% are women. Seldia is a founding member and holds the secretariat of the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP).
